Minecraft 1.21.80 Bedrock Update –VIBRANT VISUALS, Flat World Presets, Happy Ghast & More!




🎉 Biggest New Feature: Flat World Presets!

✅ You can now select flat world presets in Bedrock Edition under “Advanced” when creating a world:

  • Classic Flat

  • Tunnelers’ Dream

  • Water World

  • Overworld

  • Snowy Kingdom

  • Bottomless Pit

  • Redstone Ready

🐛 Bug Fixes & Improvements

  • Audio: Fixed issues with sound cutting off or not playing (e.g., wolf spawn sounds, credits music).

  • Blocks: Fixed light glitches and improved random offsets to match Java for flowers, coral, etc.

  • Gameplay:

    • Players no longer clip through blocks at coordinates like 256, 512, etc.

    • Deepslate Redstone Ore lights up properly again.

    • Elytra fireworks fixed when launched near blocks.

  • Mobs:

    • Parrots can imitate more mobs like Phantoms and Blazes.

    • Camels won’t spawn in tiny spaces.

    • Wither Skeletons and Zombified Piglins can walk in lava.

  • Villagers: Farmers don’t get stuck collecting crops anymore.

🏰 New Experimental Features (toggle “Drop 2 2025”):

🦴 Dried Ghast Block & Ghastling Mob

  • Found in Nether Fossils or crafted with bone block + 8 ghast tears.

  • Waterlog the block → after 20 minutes it spawns a Ghastling.

  • Feed the Ghastling snowballs to help it grow into a Happy Ghast (NEW flying mount for 4 players!).

  • Happy Ghast is a friendly ghast you can equip with a harness to ride 🥳.

✨ Vibrant Visuals (Beta Graphics)

  • New experimental graphics mode with improved lighting, effects, and visuals.

  • Only works on higher-end devices (e.g., Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC DX12, newer Android/iOS).

  • Not compatible with existing resource packs or splitscreen for now.

🧭 Locator Bar (Experimental)

  • New UI on your HUD showing nearby player directions (replaces XP bar).

  • Crouching, invisibility, mob heads, or pumpkins hide you from the Locator Bar.

🛠️ Other Notable Fixes & Parity Updates

✅ Bundles display icons properly with touch controls.
✅ Totem of Undying now gives the same regen effect as Java.
✅ Shields take durability from explosions like Java.
✅ Woodland Mansions always spawn an Efficiency I axe in a chest.
✅ Craft cut sandstone slabs in the Stonecutter.

📢 Realms Update

  • Can now pick a preferred server hosting region in Realms settings!

  • Shows the current region when joining.

📝 Known Issues

  • Vibrant Visuals may show pink textures or flickering shadows on some devices.

  • Happy Ghast currently has 40 health instead of intended 20.
